Welcome to Global NGO Alliance (GNA).

Global NGO Alliance is an international collaborative platform established to strengthen legally constituted non-profit organizations by promoting transparency, institutional excellence, capacity building, digital transformation, knowledge sharing, responsible governance, sustainable development, and strategic collaboration.

The NGO Membership Programme has been created to bring together registered NGOs, charitable trusts, societies, Section 8 companies, foundations, community-based organizations, educational institutions, humanitarian organizations, and other eligible non-profit entities into a unified professional network dedicated to creating measurable and sustainable social impact.

This NGO Membership Policy establishes the eligibility criteria, membership procedures, governance principles, rights, responsibilities, operational standards, ethical expectations, and administrative requirements applicable to every organization seeking membership with Global NGO Alliance.

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that all member organizations operate within a transparent, accountable, lawful, and collaborative framework while respecting the mission, vision, and values of Global NGO Alliance.

Information collected from Member NGOs shall be processed only for legitimate organizational purposes, including membership management, organizational verification, digital identity administration, programme coordination, communication, reporting, certificate generation, collaboration initiatives, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

Global NGO Alliance implements appropriate administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect organizational information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or loss.

All information shall be handled in accordance with the official Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy published on the Global NGO Alliance websites.

  1. Intellectual Property

Global NGO Alliance retains all ownership rights relating to its intellectual property, including but not limited to:

Membership does not grant Member NGOs any ownership interest in the intellectual property of Global NGO Alliance.

Organizations shall not reproduce, modify, distribute, commercially exploit, or misuse organizational intellectual property without prior written authorization.

Similarly, Global NGO Alliance respects the intellectual property rights of Member NGOs and expects all parties to do the same.

  1. Conflict of Interest

Member NGOs are expected to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest that could influence their participation in Global NGO Alliance programmes, committees, evaluations, collaborations, funding discussions, partnerships, procurement processes, or governance activities.

Where credible evidence of fraudulent activity exists, Global NGO Alliance reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership, initiate internal investigations, report matters to competent authorities where required by law, and pursue appropriate legal remedies.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Global NGO Alliance makes reasonable efforts to provide secure digital services, reliable organizational support, and accurate information to Member NGOs.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Global NGO Alliance shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Internet Interruptions.
  • Technical Failures.
  • Banking Delays.
  • Third-Party Service Interruptions.
  • Cyber Security Incidents.
  • Delayed Communications.
  • User Errors.
  • Force Majeure Events.

International Member NGOs remain responsible for complying with the legal requirements applicable within their respective jurisdictions.

  1. Severability

If any provision of this NGO Membership Policy is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction or authorized legal authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such provision shall be considered severable from the remaining provisions.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
